What is it?

Solar Media Large-Scale Ground-Mount UK Site Opportunities
  • Columns A & B show the site reference number and the site name.
  • Columns D & E show the original planned capacity and our estimate of final capacity if built.
  • Cells D1 to E4 show the site count and capacity, auto-calculating based on the filtered sites chosen.
Development & Planning
  • Columns G to I show the original developer that was behind the application, the original planners, and the final developer.
  • The final developer is either the same as the original developer or a new developer that is known to have acquired the site, post planning.
Site location, district authority and os coordinates
  • Columns K to T provide a comprehensive set of geographic location entries, including 6-digit postcodes through to eastings/northings OS co-ordinates.
  • Planning district authorities are shown, in addition to the land classification (agricultural, former airfield, industry estate, etc.)
Progress status & key dates
  • Columns V to AB show the planning application reference details.
  • This includes LPA planning reference numbers, status of submission, status of council decision, and key dates related to planning and site construction.
Funding Incentives
  • Columns AD to AF provide information on the intended funding mechanism (RO, NIROC, FiT or CfD) and the final funding channel at time of construction.
Forecast Analysis
  • Columns AH to AJ provide forecasting for the expected quarter/year of site completion.
  • Column AJ shows the status of the sites that can be used as a guide to the probability of the site being built.
  • Column AL shows the date that the last major update to the row entry was made by the Solar Intelligence team.
